The Ypsilanti Cooperative Preschool, located in Washtenaw County, MI, is a non-profit nonsectarian organization licensed by the Michigan Department of Human Services. The YCP provides a balance between play-based and structured time in the classroom, supporting the individual growth and development of each child.
Our teacher has an extensive educational background and experience in early childhood development. Starting in 2011, she integrated the Montessori method into the curriculum.
Class sizes have a limit of 16 children in the 3’s class and 20 children in the 4’s class. At all times in addition to the teacher, there are at least two parents assisting in the classroom.
The YCP admits students regardless of race, color, religion, sex, and national or ethnic origin.
